Fantastic experience: Best Regional company to work.

Negative experience: Called many times for fires and noise and biohazard from homeless in the alley by my house. Was told the area would be patrolled more often due to the actual emergencies happening (fires, overdoses, stealing) and still don't get an officer here for more than 45 mins if I call .

Negative experience: Seen them do a hit and run in an official griffin truck once. In general, a weird cross between needlessly abusive and useless. Confused as to whether they recieve any training, or if the only qualification for the job is "Failed psych eval for RCMP basic training."

Negative experience: I am writing to express my extreme frustration and concern regarding the dangerous driving of one of your security company’s vehicles. On July 27th around 3:50pm (today), I witnessed an incident where your vehicle displayed extremely unsafe driving behavior. The vehicle weaved recklessly through a parking lot instead of simply turning right at the street intersection, which was both illegal and unsafe. The driver narrowly missed hitting me and another pedestrian on the sidewalk, and had to slam on the brakes so hard that the tires screeched. After almost hitting us, the driver aggressively accelerated towards a fire across the street. (we were walking over to ensure no one was in the building - it was not a raging fire more like a small bit of smoke coming from an alley). Upon arriving at the scene, the driver (driver with short brown hair and passenger wore a turban) drove recklessly around the side of the building into oncoming traffic, even though the passenger had already run around to the side. There was no justification for the driver to get into the truck and drive 30 feet away; it was an unnecessary and dangerous maneuver. Once on scene, they did nothing substantive and merely glanced over a fence until the fire trucks arrived. It is concerning that they felt the need to speed around while multiple fire trucks and police officers managed to arrive safely and handle the situation without exhibiting such reckless behavior. This company is fortunate that I was not killed and that I did not address these concerns directly with the police officers who were on site. I am deeply troubled by this incident and the unsafe practices of your employees. I strongly urge you to address this issue and ensure your drivers adhere to safe driving standards to prevent potential tragedies. Photo attached of location. Negative experience: Drive like idiots license plate VB 2429 you’re not a cop how dare you drive so aggressively just to end up at the same light, fool

Negative experience: I live downtown chwk and I called in a couple of times to get homless people to stop Harassing residents and stop sleeping or starting fires. Griffin secutity is the worse company ever. All they do is sit on there butts and drive by or yell from there vehicle. I do not feel safe with this security company as I ask them to help me get into my building and remove the homeless and they wouldn't it help me so I had to contact the police.

Negative experience: Overpaid useless called multiple times to deal with a homeless guy In distress been well over an hour still no response. Why is the city even paying these rent a cops

Negative experience: Pros: No positive thing about the company. They only make false promises with people at the time of interview and once you are in with one year bond you will start feeling cheated. Cons: No hr policies. Poor management. Work culture is too bad. Bad politics at senior level. No professional/career growth. Bond for getting Increment. Advice to Management Please create an environment where employees can work. Also please stop making people fool and try to respect them who are putting their efforts to generate revenue and earned new projects for you...

Negative experience: Look how well they keep the 7 11 area in chilliwack safe and secure. If u find them harassing u just pull out some tin foil or needles and abracadabra u invisible

Negative experience: Please discipline your security gaurds that patrolled Cultus Lake campgrounds on the night of August 12th and very early morning of August 13th 2023 between 11:30pm - 1am. They start arguments and don't know the rules and regulations very well.

Positive experience: I'm I don't feel safe with any security company roaming the streets of chill iwack . To much athority hanging aruond last couple of years , I rember when Chilliwack had only one police car hanging down town. T o my grand father was r cmp and war vetrain he'd say they look like to much castspo !! hang around my peace of min d no disrespectful I'm sure they have purpose what ever happened to the serinty of my town . I work security in another provance and there to much ego trippers it's simple trade gone over bord

Positive experience: Of the four or five times I've called Griffin four of them couldn't find me. This is nuts we need our own dispatch and we need the dispatch to understand. The Chilliwack middle school downtown is a overrun with drug and problems. The school is their client although they don't usually do anything anymore they just drive and eat their lunch and drive out find me so I had to call the police so I had to call the police. If you're dispatcher doesn't have a list that provides their clients and they don't know where downtown is your company is not going to make it nobody pays for nothing. The guy almost died in the park on Monday We had police and ambulance and everybody running every which way where was Griffin.

Fantastic experience: Amazing job, constantly being on patrol watching over downtown 7-eleven area. Staff are always checking in seeing if things are good and are always friendly.

Fantastic experience: There were several employees from Griffin doing security at the bike track in Chilliwack. All them were very friendly and even provided water for everyone there. Well done guys!

Negative experience: They didn't answer the phone. Didn't seem to be concerned. Very continuous patrols. They seem to move people from one location to the next. They have smokes with them..not professional but just my opinion and probably not all the guards do this I'm sure..

Negative experience: Poorly trained security working at Sunnyside Campground. Trying to enforce made up policies. Had to show them the written policy and school them on rules they should know.

Positive experience: Talked to few of their team members and noted that they are all behaving and talking similar to those working for the law enforcement agencies. Not the same apples but it could be a stepping stone for some.

Fantastic experience: I'm often in the downtown Chilliwack area and it's good to know there's a company like Griffin security that can make sure that nobody's loitering around. After finishing my grocery shopping I went out to have a cigarette halfway through to employees showed up in the truck and asked me to leave and would not budge until I left. If you're constantly on the move you could be anywhere you want in the downtown area but it's good to know that everybody can stay safe knowing that anybody who wants to just take a break and sit down and rest for a bit absolutely can't. Good job guys and it good to know everyone in town is supporting you with a contract to keep people safe in the downtown Chilliwack. Good job guys you seem to be knowing what you're doing and everyone is happy to know you're there. Stay safe.

I called about some garbage left in front of a downtown store, within 10 minutes two of your Security Officers were cleaning it up. We stopped by to say thanks and they were so professional and polite, reminded us to call us anytime. Thank you to all of your staff for being there for the business and people living downtown!!
