Fantastic experience: I am intentionally writing this review after passing the Ministry test because James Winter deserves to receive proper recognition and appreciation. If you take the Private Investigator course with him, you WILL pass the Ministry test - trust me, he goes above and beyond for his students! Taking the Private Investigator course with James was an incredible experience. James is an excellent instructor who truly prepares his students—not just to pass the Ministry test, but to succeed in the field. His classes were fun, interactive and engaging. There were lots of opportunities to have discussions on real-life examples, case studies and videos, which naturally helped us connect with other students in the class who share an interest and passion for private investigations. In addition, James invited guest speakers from the industry who offered valuable insights and real-world advice. Not to mention, he will provide you with recommendations on great courses, trainings and companies to consider if you want to expand yourself in the industry. Fantastic experience: I watched several of James informative PI videos and read a number of his Google reviews to determine if this was something I would like to do. Within 2 days of me doing a little research and shooting James an email about his course, I was invited by James to a short one on one question and answer via zoom. My decision to take this course was solidified after meeting with him. The James you watch on the videos and read about in the reviews is exactly the same James we all met in class. Fantastic experience: Taking James Winter's Private Investigators course was a rewarding experience. James course provided all the relevant material, from Criminal and Civil Law, Privacy Legislation, Investigative Techniques and much more to be successful writing the Provincial Exam. James course was interactive and engaging experience, well organized and expertly presented. James is a master in his field, and he is more than willing to impart his knowledge on his students through many real life stories and opportunities to ask tonnes of questions. It is obvious that James cares about the success of his students by preparing them not only for the Provincial exam, but a career as a Private Investigator. I can honestly say that I felt prepared and confident going into the Provincial exam, and in the end, was successful on the first attempt. I owe that to James and his efforts. James course far exceeded my expectations, as the other courses I previously looked into were "self-study", where you just read, read and read some more needless information, usually resulting in more questions than answers, and this course is nothing like that, just the opposite. I am extremely thankful I found James course and I would without a doubt recommend it to anyone interested in becoming a Private Investigator (then you can experience it for yourself)! The best part is, now that I have finished the course and passed the exam, I still know that James is available to help his students begin their career, but continue to mentor them as they grow! Fantastic experience: James Winters course is by far the best thing that ever happened to me! Twice I have signed up for those 50 hour online courses/PDF self learning courses and I could never finish them. They are not engaging whatsoever. I personally found them actually so boring I lost interest in finishing them sadly, but never lost the passion to want to be a PI. With James, he makes the course interesting, it’s absolutely engaging, we had an amazing class and a great group of people, there were laughs, and open forum to ask as many questions as one would want to ask entering the world of private investigation. If you are looking into this course, I stand behind it wholeheartedly, and I guarantee you will not regret it. I wish I found James Winter Associates 20 years ago. At least before wasting money on self taught courses where you are overloaded with material, unknowing what is going to be so critical for you to truly become fluent in to succeed! You are not just obtaining your mandatory course certificate, you are making a friend, a mentor, with a trusted well respected PI who is well versed within the industry! Keep up the great work James! Fantastic experience: I took James Winters Private Investigation Course for many reasons. My circumstances are different to those who have already taken and passed James's course. I am currently from the United Kingdom and in the same industry. I had previously taken the Canadian Pi licensing course in 2017 with another provider and the material was just PDFs uploaded on to the study page and no support or interactions with the provider. On completion of the course i received no course completion number or no communication from the provider.( Buy cheap -buy twice) I had seen LinkedIn posts with regards to connections highly recommending James Winter Associates and praising James for his tutoring and their success in passing the exam. I made contact with James with regards to my circumstances and my intentions of relocating from the United Kingdom. James provided me with sound advice and scheduled a meeting on a public holiday and gave up his time to speak to me at length. On the basis of James's professionalism, honesty and knowledge. I decided to take James's Pi course.James has a friendly unique way and approach to all his students and how the material is delivered. The classes are fun, interactive and very conducive to learning. I cannot thank James and his team enough for my great experience undertaking the course 7000 miles away remotely.On completion of James course a few hours later i received my course completion number to sit the Ministry exam. I would highly recommend James Winter Associates over any course provider in the province and value for money. Your not just gaining an Instructor your also gaining a friend. Fantastic experience: I took The Private Investigators Training Course offered by James Winter. I was very apprehensive about being able to start a new career as more mature person. However I realized that I had a lot of life experience to offer. James Winter was very encouraging and understood my concerns. In the end it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I was worried about classes being on Zoom, but found it very easy. Classes were , interactive, fun and interesting, and as a bonus I met some very cool people. This course also challenged my way of thinking and old beliefs. Focusing on facts rather than emotions. I am now moving forward to become a Researcher, which in an integral component of Private Investigating. I say it's never too late to follow your dreams.
