Negative experience: The 5-star reviews are clearly manufactured... likely written by employees pressured by management. This company operates like a cutthroat, opportunistic outfit with no regard for ethics, empathy, or employee well-being. They make rash decisions without hearing people out and take zero accountability. They are lucky enough they aren't being audited by the CRA or the Ministry of the Solicitor General... though if they were, they'd probably just bury it under the same dishonesty their management runs on. This company is stuck in the early 2000s when it comes to how a business should be run... basically outdated, disorganized, and completely out of touch. They parade around like they have some grand mission or set of core values, but let’s be real... it’s all smoke and mirrors. If they do have values, no one’s seen them in action. They make constant mistakes, show no accountability, and still have the nerve to act like they’re superior to every other security company out there. Training is nonexistent, and they throw guards into roles unprepared. To make things worse, they exploit their own staff, even part-time international students by overcharging for uniforms and pocketing the difference. The whole operation feels like a cash grab, not a professional security firm. Spare yourself the headache and avoid working for this company and think twice before trusting them with your business.

Darren, the security manager is not only an amazing individual, but he knows you by your name, and not your license number. Negative experience: The owner Sean takes advantage of his employees, he doesn’t even provide use of force training yet he expects his employees to be hands on and physical, which is putting their safety at risk! Compensation is much lower than in market standards for the job description, they just want more and more out of you without a pay raise. Sean Gladney and Kevin Crane lack empathy, they take the upmost advantage of employees and will leave you without work with zero notice. There are much better security & private investigation companies to work for. BEWARE!!

Negative experience: This company seems to have problem with race. If you're black or dark skinned, expect to be followed around the store by these security. It's weird that we're in 2024 and we still have security guards following people around on the basis of race. On Saturday January 27th, at approximately 8:20 pm. I was followed around the Metro Bramalea City Centre while shopping with my brother for cereal, soup and pop. I even point to my brother that the security is following me and the guard keeps following me. The funny part about all of this is that I actually work as a security guard! I spoke to a worker and the manager, and they said they often get complaints that the guards are people around without justifiable cause. If you're black or a dark skinned person, just have your phone on record near this companies security guards.

Negative experience: I had a guy follow me from this company being a stalker made me feel very uncomfortable like I honestly felt scared because of this guy he was stalking me and I wasn't even doing anything wrong and I made a call about it today and it seemed like the guy that I was talking to was unbothered I do not think he understands how scared I was because of the guy that works for their company

Negative experience: I have the worst experience with this company. The staff that is working in it is not cooperative. Whenever ever I tried to talk with them, they always transferred their call to someone else's. The main thing is I'm working as a full-time and they only give me 18 hours a week. Hope they understand and change their attitude towards employees.

Negative experience: Sloppy, unprofessional and unethical conduct by one green rookie -guard doing store undercover poorly. Equally shoddy follow up investigation, if any was actually conducted, by the Head Office. Complaints about guard conduct was not even checked on cctv footage. Makes one wonder about stores and clients who contract 3rd party services engaged in this kind of thing.

Fantastic experience: Today i went to Wilson Metro the security gaurd over there Ansh was really good he caught one shoplifter in front of me when i was collecting some information from him and it was really amazing how he tackled him and the situation. IGI is making really good gaurds.

Fantastic experience: Was verbally assaulted by an IGI security guard last night in a downtown Toronto grocery store that I have shopped in regularly for nearly 10 years. He swore at me, called me names, ridiculed me for wearing a facemask (I was sick at the time and trying not to spread germs). He was so out of control that the store staff had to ask him to back off. So why am I giving them 5 stars? Bad staff can happen. It's what you do about it that counts. I called IGI. Was transferred to the person who handles their guards (Zane). I explained what happened and he immediately committed to removing this guard from that store. He also handled it very professionally. The whole call was about 3 minutes including transfers. Less than the amount of time I spent being accosted by this guard!

Fantastic experience: The staff of this company is very nice.They train very effectively and efficiently. My trainer was Anojan, he is pretty good in training new employees. He’s the best. Also, Zane is very cool with employees, he always help me in every difficult situation. He’s always helpful to me in a very good way.

The mobile supervisor Anojan goes above and beyond for the guards needs and concerns. I'd recommend this place for anyone trying to get into the security field.
