Negative experience: My first interview with Sabrina was fantastic. She was very nice and respectful. But my second interview was with Taranjit. She is very unprofessional, rude and doesn't know how to talk to others.

Negative experience: I went there for interview with Taranjit they made me wait for about 40 minutes, i was there before 10 minutes of interview. Plz respect everyone’s time. I felt so insulting she didn’t even know my name. I would say it’s zero professionalism including the front desk staff they brought food on front and having it. At least don’t do it in-front guys, it doesn’t look nice at all. Worst experience!!

Positive experience: Good company

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Securiguard for quite a long now, and I can confidently say that Securiguard is a company that values both its clients and employees. It is the most employee-friendly organization I have ever worked for. Additionally, the company provides ample opportunities for growth and fosters a supportive work environment.

Negative experience: I hired in Securiguard in burnaby office, scheduler are super arrogant and biased whenever they need ,they call and email to guard otherwise no answer for extra shift, they send their closer friends for extra shift not other whoever need shift. Moreover only two word which schedulers know 'No shift'. I had bad experience with securiguard and recommended to other do not go with securiguard in Security.

Negative experience: Bunch of waste guys working in this company. Wasted my time. Do not ever go there.

Positive experience: It's basically a good company to work for. However, I have reservations about the load of work they assign to their employees. I have/had worked as a mobile guard for overnight shifts in the Surrey (and adjacent) sector, and tasks were calculated in seconds matter (sorta run for life game) you miss any and damn you cannot recover onwards unless mutually agreed to skip few points. Same thing at BC Ferries, just one guard for the entire vessel, 4 or five large decks, and you keep walking. You have to use stairs to fulfill proper security watch, deal with rude racist passengers, and 2 to 3 runs each direction, no proper privare break area .....damn it waring steel tow heavy shoes and this much walk...... (Seriously, Securiguard) Proudly became Downtown concierge, and damn it, which concierge march 5 floors of car parking and all the floors, and top windy roof every hour? Nah.....I'm good, thank you, though, for some training, reasonable pay plus overtime, and nice clean uniform (which I have returned now, as no plan to continue with Securiguard). But good luck and best wishes for those who continue.

Negative experience: Very poor operations and zero accountability for Guards or clients. My close relative worked here and shared experience of low pay and poor Management.

Negative experience: Toxic. When I was first hired, my supervisor asked me to write a 5 star review on Securiguard because his manager told him that Securiguard wanted to "improve their reviews", and wanted employees to all give 5 stars to help. I did not know Securiguard yet. After time, i learned one of those companies where they say all right things to give appearance of caring for employees, but reality is you are just a number. Low pay, poor morale and poor management. It was common to work a graveyard nightshift, then be called 4 hours later while you're sleeping and asked to work another shift. I worked a busy site in downtown Vancouver and I saw a constant churn of good people walk out the door because of the toxic management culture that affected all the front line workers. If you want a career in security this is not the place.

Negative experience: I worked for the Ontario branch but wanted to leave a review here as well to warn people in BC. I had a PTSD flashback on the job, and instead of being offered counselling through the company, I was delcared unfit and fired. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR IMAGE AND FINANCES.

Negative experience: Not very diverse, they pretty much just hire brown people. I wish they would be more multicultural like the rest of Vancouver!

Negative experience: What a joke We hired a securiguard to watch our construction site after a break in. The guard showed up in sandals and secually harassed our employees. The manager apologized and sent a different one but he was just as awful.

Negative experience: Harsh with their employees...A friend of mine works under this security services ..and asked for leave due to corona symptoms...No relief was granted and he was told to work forcefully...Such a shame Is this what are we looking forward for during pandemic?.....U cant secure one's life What else u can do

Fantastic experience: I worked for Securiguard Services, from March 2015 to January of 2017. The management team can sometimes come off as being very demanding and strict. But if you are willing to take on their challenges, have good work ethics, and if you are self disciplined, then meeting their high demands and strict obligations shouldn’t be an issue.

Negative experience: Company is ok but the management is very unprofessional. Some of the employees in managerial positions working but they are not fit to work for those positions. Positions are in control of those people who thinks that they are the owner of the company. Downtown vancouver site incharges are very rude and illmannered

Fantastic experience: I currently work at the head office and I must say that I really love my team and Securiguard's culture. For the short time I have been with the company, I have had the chance to grow in my field and I also made new friends. I love that Securiguard doesn't micromanage my work, they are flexible regarding schedule, my supervisor is 100% supportive and my opinions are heard.

Fantastic experience: This company has a lots of potential to be one of the North America's top security companies, but there are so many rants unfortunately and I had to leave and move on finaly. I'm gonna miss you securiguad.

Negative experience: Bad company I think someone from your company has some deal with towing company and he is making sure to tow residents cars if they forgot to put their passes on the dashboard. They can help towing residents vehicle at 3:30 in the morning but they can’t stop theft from happening at our building four times. Shame If I have the choice my self I would never hire you or work for you

Negative experience: Very unprofessional staff. No good communication with people who apply for jobs. They pretend to be very professional but I have friends working inside tell that its a big mess up only few of the employees are in control of good positions.

We arrived to get some air and sun after a week of so many layoffs and isolation and wanted some positive vibes being outside to get out. Only to be met with Securiguard hitting people with more distress and making money off people under terrible crisis. Shame on city of vancouver for allowing them to do this. Negative experience: Jobs at Securiguard - don't be surprised if you end up dealing with a recruiter (contractor) who has no experience, nor respect for you as a candidate. Their hiring process is broken.

Negative experience: I don't recommend this company. Their job postings are a complete scam. They make it look like they pay high wage but when you go into the job interview they say the higher end of the wage is for internal employees. They bait and switch. Staff are highly unprofessional.

Negative experience: Overweight 40ish snobby and condescending security guard with deep Euro accent at Vancouver airport guarding entrance to international flight was super rude and upset cause I asked him a quick question. Terrible service and provided no help. This company hires low class individuals.

Negative experience: I had applied multiple times to this company I never had received any kind of response from anyone in the company regarding my resume and licenses which I have more than qualified as I have a PI license which has been combined onto my security workers license so I hold both. not worth the time applying to this company horrible service who just never give any responses for any applications sent. Negative experience: Terrible company that will not have your back at all. That's why they have such a high turnover rate and Terrible guards.

Fantastic experience: One of the most attractive security company. They have contracts with most of the high-end stores in Vancouver and Edmonton. Suited Guard, Event Guard, Mobile Patroller, Retail Security, K9 units, loss prevention and many more.

Positive experience: They treated me with the respect I believed I deserve. The team gave me ample time to be understand all of my options. Showed me flexibility to accommodate some of the family responsibilities I must carry out. It’s a homegrown operation and they promote from within. I’ve made my decision,I’m comfortable with it and hope to become part of theSecuriguard Team in the near future.

Negative experience: Low wages with warm-body hiring practices. Take on new clients when they can't fill contracts they already have. Both these problems lead to bad customer service because clients get whoever the company pulled in off the street that morning. I do not recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I am an new employee of this company and I am so impressed with how I have been treated. I always believed in "you show me loyalty and I'll show it back". Amazing that they have gained my loyalty so quickly.

Negative experience: I'm on my boat at Burrard Civic Marina WATCHING the guard sit on someone's boat smoking a joint. So; A - he's not doing his job B - he's not doing his job that my fees pay for, and C - he's STONED ON THE JOB Great work, Securiguard. I feel really safe.
