CPIS is a full service investigation company, serving the Province of Ontario.
Founded by a 25 year investigative veteran, and a former insurance casualty adjuster. We provide service to Insurers, Law Firms, Companies & Select individual clients.
CPIS has offices in Mississauga & Cambridge with investigators located throughout the province.
Our Owner Chris Williams Is a frequent media guest, regarding surveillance, firearms, human trafficking, copyright, and privacy.

Negative experience: Total display of your incompetence. Wrong info. I am surprised you make a living doing this Total fraud. Unprofessional.
Your review, is good opportunity for us to explain why we were not able to service you.You initially called us and inquired about a family law Investigation, conducting surveillance on your former partner.Unfortunately due to criminal charges, related to her assault, allegedly at your hand, we would be unable to assist. You have very strict release conditions, which prohibit contacting your former spouse, and that also includes , Indirect contact such as surveillance.This may not have been what you wanted to hear, but I can assure you we advised you in respectful manner.You cannot do surveillance on somebody whilst you are under an order of protection, a peace bond or other release conditions.
Negative experience: Too expensive
Our Fee structure is in line with most Private Investigation Service providers. Surveillance is typically $70.00 per hour, and a mileage charge of 55 cents per k.m. Larger firms than ours charge $80 per hour plus+ The vast majority of Private investigations are undertaken by Insurance companies, & law firms, and our fee schedule is priced accordingly. Our firm is actually one of the only ones in the regions that will assist defense lawyers and perform service for the legal aid billing rate.The fee we charge is commensurate with the experience level of our investigative staff. There will always be someone cheaper in our business, but that does not mean their services are professionally handled or ethical.

Fantastic experience: Just would like to thank Chris for his sage advice on our crisis. We spoke for a half hour and he brought up some very crafty ideas and didn't even ask for anything. Fantastic experience: Spoke to this agency regarding a missing person. Response was very quick got some really good advise. The investigator even took the time to talk to police to raise the seriousness of the situation. All this was done without any cost. The investigator genuinely wanted to help out. Police and this agency worked exceptionally well to find this missing person.
