Negative experience: I just purchased a "Canada casier judiciaire" from this company and then realized that it is not certified and would basically be useless to me. I paid $29.95. Then I decided to cancel, and contacted the customer service via chat. She initiated the refund request but told me they would keep $10 (almost half) for administrative fees. For what exactly when they haven't done any work yet. She said it is advertised on their page. I went through the page and couldn't find that clearly advertised anywhere. Sounds like it's buried within FAQ. In any case that is a deceptive practice. Don't buy anything unless you know you won't cancel

Negative experience: I hired them to find a tenant who had skipped out on me, leaving 2 months of rent unpaid... they were unable to locate her. They confirmed that her last known address was indeed the one of the property I was renting to them (lol) and her date of birth... they couldn't even confirm where she was working even though I had provided that information... $170 wasted for nothing! I give them 2 stars for their customer service because they respond quickly on the phone...

Fantastic experience: Speed and professionalism. 2 pre-location surveys ordered on April 14th at the end of the day. The first one was completed on April 15th, and the 2nd one was completed on April 19th, due to the Easter holiday. I subscribed to the most comprehensive package. The reports received are very detailed and the follow-ups were done with diligence and professionalism. I recommend and will do business again with Groupe Trak if necessary.

Negative experience: Quick and complete service for the Simple Localization of an individual. I give 2 and a half stars because I made my request on February 28, they located the individual on March 1 but they only sent me the report today, March 21, after my follow-up email. I lost 3 weeks waiting for them to contact me when I could have been progressing on my side. Quite frustrating.

Negative experience: Company that takes the liberty of informing my boss that I want to move and specifies the type of housing (House) and the price. This is my private life if you didn't know. I sincerely think that this raises a big ethical and moral issue. Not to mention that they wanted to inform my current landlord of my possible departure. Even though I did not mention the information but that of my former landlord of the same property. Moreover, they allow themselves to question our information and suspect us of lying without valid reasons. It was a very unpleasant experience to apply for an apartment and have an investigation conducted on us by this company. Not to mention that the clerk who called me was totally disrespectful. Fortunately, we encountered a landlord who understands that there are limits. Your methods as novice investigators should be illegal. I therefore invite tenants to systematically refuse this kind of investigation. And landlords to respect their future tenants at a minimum.
