Fantastic experience: Contacted Allfine about a beeping smoke detector. Their response was prompt and courteous. An Allfine technician patiently spent almost 45 minutes with us trying to solve the beeping problem. We then discovered that the beeping sound did not come from a device installed by Allfine! We asked to be billed for the wasted time of the technician. But, Allfine reassured us that there would be no charge for their time and effort. The problem was from an old carbon monoxide detector.

Negative experience: I presently have an older security system by a manufacturer that was taken over by allfine. First they charged me $360 for 45 minutes work, which was worthless didn't help with any of my issue's. Then when I complained they agreed to refund me $50. . Then asked for an estimate to fix my system 2 times and they won't answer me has been over 2 months now.
Hello Brenda. Our onsite dispatch charges were quoted to you prior to scheduling and sending a technician onsite. That is our rate to cover a technicians time and travel costs as our office is located in Vaughan and you are located in Georgetown. We dispatched a technician to replace the batteries on your system as you requested. This was successfully completed. Your alarm system is intermittent and needs upgrading. We did not come onsite to repair the system as parts are no longer available for that model alarm system. You placed a service call for us to replace batteries and we did exactly that. We did initially advise the Secant alarm system you have is dated and obsolete, and it will behave intermittently as the system is failing. You still wanted to proceed with the battery replacements and we completed this. An upgrade quote was sent out to you 3 days after our visit onsite.We investigated this further and we do not have any calls or emails from you to our sales department. The only record we have from your number and email are interactions with our billing department. I confirmed with the sales department a quote was sent out to you. We apologize if you did not receive it, a simple call to our sales department would have addressed this. You did not need to wait 2 months nor leave a negative review as this is counter productive. We are very sorry you had this experience. We did send out the quote. Customer service is paramount to us. Again sorry for the troubles and best wishes.
