Negative experience: Don't trust this company. Hired them to help track down my biological father and I could not be more disappointed for the $1500 they charged me. The results I received was nothing more than a glorified google search that I had already accomplished on my own. There was no communication between myself and the assigned investigator, no follow up questions, or interest at all in my case. The customer service representative Jade was hard to get a hold of throughout the process and when asked for more details proceeded to ignore me completely. Would not recommend, don't waste your money with this company. UPDATE: Yes, I was a client..as stated earlier, the rep i dealt with was Jade. I still have not received a reply. Feel free to offer an email or phone number that I can call to resolve my issue instead of denying its existence.

Negative experience: Said they wouldn't help me help the child next door that is clearly being abused

Fantastic experience: The staff are very professional and very prompt to my enquiry. Very friendly, and asked all the appropriate questions for the service I required. They kept me informed of their progress, and ultimately did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them for any investigative work.

Negative experience: The Smith Investigation Agency is the worst! We would never use them again! They only retrieve information you can get yourself free just by googling, or pay $46 on a site like truthfinder for 2 mths of investigation!, Or Checkmate. Smith charges a huge fee and returns little results. If questioned on their lack of information, they are unprofessional and than refuse to issue a refund.

Negative experience: My family has a delicate situation with a narcissist so we fear for her well being and the Granbabies. We had used an other investigator that was only ok so after a lengthy conversation( 45 minutes) with the Smith group we thought we could get some help. We explained in an email what we had learned from the prior investigator . So after having lots of info in hand we thought we would get more info as they knew our starting point. we waited several weeks with no reply so we called to check and they said that these things take time and they are doing a check. SO AFTER WE PAID OUR 900 DOLLARS WE GOT A LINKEDIN PICTURE AND A RUDE REPLY THAT THIS WAS ALL THEY COULD FIND? We questioned the charge because we had already given them this info and more as a starting point. THEY WERE AGAIN RUDE AND HAD NO EMPATHY FOR OUR SITUTATION. SO 900 BUCKS TO LOOK UP A LINKEDIN PROFILE

Fantastic experience: I wanted to find a friend from university, and I reached out to this company. They were able to locate my friend . No surprises in pricing. I liked how they charged what we discussed in advance. Loved working with them. Super helpful and friendly. It was nice talking with female investigators. I was a bit skeptical at first after talking to some other companies, but after I spoke with this company I felt comfortable. It was obvious they knew what they were doing, and were confident. I didn’t want to be taken advantage of and that’s why I chose this company. The staff were amazing, and made me feel at ease. Since I had such a great experience with them I wanted to write a review so others would know!!!!
